I am a creative, strategic, multidisciplinary quantitative research leader with nine years of experience. In my research, I have focused on outcome research and real-world-evidence (RWE). I understand and plan for the methodological and data needs of individual projects, while also considering a bigger-picture and a future-oriented strategy. I have been collaborating in different research projects and settings in the Nordics, the rest of Europe, and Africa.

  • Led and involved in a COVID-19 project, commissioned by Gilead Services, where I:
  • Developed the research protocol and statistical plans.
  • Selected various data sources and end-points to design a robust evidence generation strategy.
  • Processing data, interpreting analyses, and presenting insights to different audiences.
  • As a result, our center investigated the impact of long COVID-19 on healthcare utilization to provide valuable insights into the pandemic’s long-term effects and inform strategies for future preparedness. I established new network with pharmaceutical companies and gained valuable insight into their research approaches.

  • Project lead for three projects: End to end conceptualization and execution of longitudinal observational studies (ERC funded).
  • Developed the research method and data generation strategy to examine women’s reproductive experience: long-term implications for chronic disease and death based on Medical Birth Registry of Norway (MBRN).
  • Processed data (Norwegian health and administrative databases), and conducted all advanced statistical analyses. Interpreted and communicated insights to different audiences.

  • Project lead: End to end conceptualization and execution of two longitudinal studies (role of Methadone and Buprenorphine in hospitalization, overdose, and mortality in patients treated for drug use disorder).

  • Processed data, and conducted all advanced statistical analyses. Interpreted and communicated insights to different audiences.
  • Project management: I coordinated the internal communication process and external contracts with Denmark Statistics and the Danish Ministry of Health (Sundhedsdatastyrelsen) to extract data from registries.
  • International collaboration: collaborated with researchers from Norway and Czech republic.
