Multidisciplinary professional with over 20 years of international experience in project coordination, innovative design solutions and architectural technology
Raised in East Africa and trained in Denmark, I bring a unique perspective shaped by cultural diversity and creative thinking. As an entrepreneur, I solo-founded a design consultancy in Tanzania, leading projects for corporate interiors, hotels, and residential renovations while overseeing client relations and quality control.
Most recently, while serving as a Technical Exhibition Coordinator at ARoS Kunstmuseum, I contributed to the planning, production, and execution of exhibitions, supporting budget development, resource efficiency, and on-site problem-solving during build phases, while fostering collaboration between technical teams, curators, artists, and external partners.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Technology and Construction Management from KEA, I am eager to apply cutting-edge technologies like blockchain and AI to advance socially responsible design.

Exploring Fintech and Blockchain as a Student Ambassador
During the final semester of my Bachelor’s degree, I undertook a 3-month unpaid ambassadorship focused on fintech, blockchain technology, and cryptocurrencies. I conducted interviews, wrote articles, and engaged in networking by connecting with industry leaders to explore emerging trends in the space.
Pioneering Local Furniture Production in Tanzania
In collaboration with a friend, I launched a pilot project focused on furniture renovations, re-upholstery, and the production of high-quality leather furniture, offering a local alternative to low-quality imports from China. I managed the setup of workshops, machinery acquisition, and recruitment, while handling daily client meetings, inquiries, workshop visits, 3D designs, material importation, and quality control of products. We imported machinery and a skilled team from Pakistan to train our Tanzanian carpenters and tailors, enabling us to serve hotels, private homes, and create customized soft seating. After two successful years, a government leadership change and new immigration laws for our Pakistani nationals forced the closure of the company.
Design and Construction Innovation in Dar Es Salaam
In 2012, I founded a company in Dar Es Salaam dedicated to project management and coordination within the design and construction industry, later expanding into procurement, staff training, and site inspections. I established showroom/offices and managed daily operations, including client meetings, presentations, international procurement orders, project designs, site inspections, quality control of materials, company accounts, and government financial requirements. Our projects spanned corporate office interiors, restaurants, hotels, nightclubs, and large residential homes, often transforming existing buildings through renovations or adaptive reuse. After six successful years, I closed the company in 2018 and relocated to Denmark.
Establishing a Horticultural Venture in Tanzania
In 2002, I co-founded a horticultural farm with my partner in the remote southern highlands of Tanzania, overseeing nearly every facet of its establishment and infrastructure development. Spanning 250 acres with 15 acres of greenhouses, the farm produced premium roses and carnations for export to the Dutch flower auctions in Holland. I helped manage daily operations, including staff training, quality control, harvesting, and export logistics, while supporting a team of 180 employees. As the first flower farm in the region, we prioritized community impact by hiring and training exclusively from surrounding villages. After a decade of growth, a personal transition in 2012 prompted my relocation to Dar es Salaam, closing this chapter of my journey.
I've changed the heading to "Establishing a Horticultural Venture in Tanzania," which focuses on the act of creation and development without implying grandeur. Does this feel more suitable to you? If you'd prefer a different heading or any other adjustments, just let me know!
A Solitary Creative Pursuit
In my early years in the highlands, I immersed myself in nearby villages, absorbing their cultures and traditions while documenting life through my 35mm black-and-white camera. I built a makeshift bush darkroom, powered by a small generator, where I developed countless negatives and prints. This solitary passion produced thousands of images, some of which were later featured in galleries and art exhibitions. As my fresh-cut flower project demanded more of my time, I had to step away from photography, and this chapter of creativity gradually faded.
