Designing and building tailored automation tools that streamline complex processes of reconciliation of all government accounts. I bridge the gap between raw data and actionable insight. With experience in data engineering, automation, and applied machine learning, I create solutions that empower the teams to work smarter and faster. As part of a data science unit, I also help detect revenue and payout anomalies by applying supervised machine learning models to historical data.

As a self-employed sports bettor in the weekends, I have managed to generate a 6-figure revenue each year, with an average yield of around 9 percent and a total of approximately 40.000 trades. In order to locate and act on the market inefficiencies, I have applied a combination of approaches such as: general knowledge of the markets, web-scraping, automation, risk/bankroll management, ML-assisted analysis of past performance and joint developments with other professionals in the field.

I managed to qualify for fighter pilot training, which is subject to very strict admission requirements. Only 0.5% of the applicants make this stage. I graduated at the NATO Flying Training Canada Phase IV. Later in my military career I became a Captain and commanded two international operations in the Seychelles and Afghanistan.

Based on the subject of my masters thesis, I received funding from the FP6 European Network of Excellence to conduct research in photonic guiding in nano band gap structures. Since I was 10 I have had many different part-time jobs: window-cleaner, pig boy, paper boy, dishwasher, factory worker, gas station attendant, cashier, fork truck driver, bartender, assistant teacher, student counselor.
