I occasionally help out at my mums toyshop in Crouch End when there are shifts that need covering some of the things i do include:

• Organising the stock and checkout area between serving customers to maintain orderly shop floor.
• Shelving and merchandising new products
• Guiding customers to locate products or alternative items.
• Operating cash registers with accuracy and processed cash and card transactions.
• Replenishing floor stock and processed deliveries promptly, maximising product availability for customers.
• Completing purchases with cash, credit and debit payment methods, providing customer receipts for reference.
• Tagging products quickly and accurately with price tags and stickers.
• Preparing orders for customers with wrapped, bagged and boxed items.

I spent a week doing work experience with the food stylists at Jamie Oliver's headquarters in North London.

I had a great time working in a busy team of creative people. Some of the things that I did included;

• Helping to organise the office and larder
• Observed photoshoots
• Sat in on meetings about new recipes

I helped out at a Big Games Show at Alexandra Palace for the French Toy brand Djeco.

I was on their stand for 2 days, doing presentations of board games by explaining and playing games with members of the public.

• Persuaded customers to purchase products by sharing in-depth explanations and demonstrations.
• Demonstrated product operation and features to promote purchases.
• Provided information to customers about new products and related promotions.
• Gained customer interest and trust with personable attitude.
