Ph.D. Research focused on the characterization of hydromechanical behavior of geomaterials (soft rocks) using neutron and X-ray images and numerical modeling.

• Experimental Acitivities: Developed the setup and conducted advanced triaxial and permeability tests at large-scale neutron facilities, acquiring neutron and X-ray tomographies while performing the tests.
• Data Analysis: Performed image and data analysis using Python and MATLAB to extract material properties and track the hydromechanical response from full-field and bulk measurement datasets.
• Numerical modeling: Applied advanced elastoplastic constitutive models and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using Abaqus to develop a benchmark study using experimental images and conventional geotechnical data.
• Funding acquisition: Successfully acquired funding from 10 Swedish and European institutions totaling approximately €110,000 to support experimental campaigns and facilitate participation in international conferences and training sessions
• Research Dissemination: Presented findings at 10 international conferences and authored 5 research articles in collaboration with Swedish and European partners.
• Teaching Contributions: Served as a Teaching Assistant for Engineering Mechanics and Modern Experimental Mechanics courses; acted as a Design Consultant for the Foundation Engineering course.

Participated in the company's foundation in 2015 and led the geotechnical design and execution of more than 40 commercial, residential and industrial buildings, and infrastructure projects (including to the TOP5 Brazilian construction companies). Conducted a comprehensive suite of tests, including triaxial, permeability, oedometric, and simple shear tests, alongside detailed soil characterization.
• Groundwater Contamination Numerical Modeling: Performed advanced computational modeling (using Geostudio suite) to simulate the migration of contaminants in groundwater, defining strategic approaches for emergency responses and remediation of contaminated sites.
