• BNYM has initiated a transformation project to upgrade its Domestic and international dollar payment systems to world class enterprise payment hub
• As a part of this project, we need to analyze their legacy payment processing systems and their interaction with shared services like funds control, customer information, AML OFAC core banking etc
• This project analysis of potential gaps with standard new generation payment hub
• It is a Reverse Engineering project.

Role and Responsibilities:
•Having Multiple interfaces like SWIFT, CHIPS and FED in US payment system , analyzed, found the incoming and
out coming messages/messages types and their flow.
•Extracted Business rules, conditions, impact analysis and CRUD reports by using AM Tool from the source
•Analyzed the programs in Top to Bottom approach and Bottom to Top approach
•Analyzed the AS400/COBOL programs and documented into BRD's which further help the client to migrate the
existing system to Java
•. Analyzed the data flow for specific fields in Top to Bottom Approach.
•Worked on the code customization for specific customer(DNB/PERSHING Bank)
•Coordinated with BA team in converting the technical document into Functional document.

1.pure local amendments involves to change in core code but amendment applicable only to 1 country which is
purely for that particular country.
2.pure regional amendments involves no change in cored code but amendment applicable to multiple region of that
particular country,
3.local to core amendment involves changes in core code an amendment applicable to one country regional to core
amendment involves changes in core code and amendment applicable to multiple regions of that particular country.
