Looking for a new job due to organizational change in Energinet, where the new department of Mega-projects on 22. May 2024 has taken over the PMO lead role for Energy Island Bornholm.

Managing programs and projects - in close collaboration with key stakeholders - from strategy- to implementation phase. When it comes to Green Transition and The Danish Energy Model, I have worked with the full value-chain for the last 3,5 years in different leading positions.

20+ years experience as a Lead, Project Manager, Risk Manager, Consultant, Change Manager and Advisor from both Public and Private sector, both in Denmark and abroad. A social person, who thrives in multicultural settings.

Stakeholder management and relation-building is at the heart of my daily focus in diverse settings,

Excellent skills for creating structure - where this is not yet established.

Key elements since March 2021: market readiness, regulatory readiness, operational readiness, offshore wind and evacuation infrastructure, cross border capacity building/TOT, critical infrastructure such as stations / cables / civil, grid codes, ancillary services, transmission, sector-coupling, hydrogen, digitalization, dynamic dimensioning among others.

  • Energy Island Bornholm (mega-project) has wide scope, including various disciplines - both technical and non-technical. 50Hertz and Energinet are working closely together in a joint PMO.

  • Country Lead India and Mexico in close collaboration with Danish Energy Agency (DEA). Best practice of Danish Energy Model shared with both countries.
  • Programme management of wide range of projects for both India and Mexico, among others: offshore wind, evacuation infrastructure, grid codes, ancillary services, demand response, hydrogen, sector-coupling, digital transformation and transmission
  • Designed 10 cases of Best Practice based on Danish Energy Model, and presented these with co-workers during mission to Delhi and Grid India Oct23
  • Mexico: capacity building and webinars developed and conducted in close collaboration with UNAM (independent University of Mexico). During mission to Mexico Nov23, alignment with UNAM was established in order to start process planning of 10 webinars that Energinet delivered.
  • Process-planning and coordination - as well as TOT and team-building.

Nordic Balancing Model (NBM) / 4 TSOs

  • Sr. Risk Manager role was co-funded by the four TSOs: Fingrid, Statnett, Svenska Kraftnät og Energinet, since the joint program NBM was owned by all 4 TSOs
  • Structure of Nordic Risk Management was established and resulted in reduction of number of key issues/risks during 3 years
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements - based on 250+ risks, issues and related mitigations harvested in NBM - based on weekly dialogue (risk meetings and workshops) with all key stakeholders
  • Part of de-risking work was to identify new projects that built capacity locally at 4 TSO's - going forward.
  • Streamlined reporting process for timely delivery of accurate risk-related data to senior management and regulators.
  • Collaborated closely with internal audit teams to identify gaps in controls and recommend appropriate remediation actions.
  • Optimized resource allocation by identifying high-risk areas and prioritizing mitigation efforts accordingly.
  • Improved overall company performance by developing and executing strategic plans to minimize potential risks.
